Accessibility map of the city centre

As much of the data included as part of the City of Sydney accessibility map has been open sourced or obtained from other agencies, the City of Sydney cannot guarantee that information contained in the accessibility map is comprehensive and up to date. The information in the accessibility map is for informational purposes only and is not suitable for legal, engineering or survey purposes.

As a result of the light rail construction on George Street there may be changes to access and accessible parking locations that have not been incorporated into the current map. Accordingly while care has been taken to ensure accuracy, the City of Sydney cannot guarantee that information contained in the accessibility map is correct and recommends that users exercise their own skill and care with respect to its use.

Toilet locations are sourced from the National Public Toilet Map , which is maintained by the federal government. The data has been published under a creative commons licence .

Stair locations are sourced from OpenStreetMap. The data is licensed under the Open Data Commons Open Database License  (ODbL) by the OpenStreetMap Foundation  and is copyright OpenStreetMap contributors.

This map is in beta. We will continue to improve and develop the accessibility map, based on your feedback, and as new data becomes available.

Access features and potential barriers can be filtered according to your own access needs. When you click a data point it will provide additional information about that feature. For example, some taxi ranks feature a kerb ramp.

To find a map key, click on list view, where a description of each data set will be displayed.
